German Blue Ram (Live Fish)

German Blue Rams (Mikrogeophagus ramirezi) are striking, freshwater dwarf cichlids known for their electric blue speckling, golden bodies, and elegant finnage. Their shimmering colours and gentle, curious nature make them one of the most popular feature fish for planted and South American–style aquariums.

Best kept as a bonded pair, Blue Rams thrive in warm, well-maintained aquariums with soft, slightly acidic water, gentle filtration, and plenty of cover such as plants, driftwood, and caves. They are generally peaceful but can become protective of their territory when breeding.
