Bolbitis 'Dragon Tail' (Live Plant)

Bolbitis 'Dragon Tail' is a distinctive aquatic fern admired for its elongated, flowing foliage and unusual leaf shape. Its taller growth and textured fronds make it an excellent feature plant for adding height, movement, and natural character to planted aquariums. It is considered a rarer Bolbitis form and can develop into a substantial centrepiece when established.

Like other Bolbitis, it is a rhizome plant and should be attached to driftwood, rocks, or other hardscape rather than planted deeply into the substrate. Keeping the rhizome exposed helps prevent rot. Good water quality, gentle to moderate flow, and suitable lighting support healthy growth, while CO₂ and regular fertilisation can encourage faster development.
