Striped Kuhli Loaches (Pangio kuhlii) are peaceful, eel-like bottom dwellers admired for their distinctive dark and golden-brown banded pattern and fascinating burrowing behaviour. Shy but social, they are an excellent addition to peaceful community aquariums and are particularly enjoyable to watch when kept in groups.

They thrive in well-maintained aquariums with soft sandy substrate, stable water quality, and plenty of hiding places among plants, driftwood, caves, and leaf litter. Best kept in groups, they feel more secure and display their natural nocturnal foraging behaviour. Feed a varied diet of quality sinking pellets, wafers, frozen, and live foods.
