Spotted Corys (Corydoras melanistius) are peaceful bottom-dwelling catfish known for their attractive dark spotted markings and active foraging behaviour. Social and hardy, they make an excellent addition to peaceful community aquariums.
They thrive in well-filtered aquariums with stable water quality, soft sand or fine gravel, and plenty of open bottom space for foraging. Keep them in groups and feed a varied diet of quality sinking pellets, wafers, and small frozen or live foods to support healthy growth and natural behaviour.
