This selectively bred colour variety combines the distinctive body shape and lively personality of the Tiger Barb with an eye-catching iridescent finish.

They thrive in well-maintained aquariums with stable water quality, good filtration, plenty of plants, and open swimming space. Best kept in groups of 6 or more, with larger groups helping encourage natural schooling behaviour and reduce fin-nipping directed toward other fish. They can be semi-aggressive, so avoid housing them with slow-moving or long-finned tankmates.
