Pictus Catfish - 4cm (Pimelodus pictus) (Live Fish)

Pictus Catfish (Pimelodus pictus) are striking South American catfish admired for their silver bodies, bold black spots and stripes, and long flowing barbels. Active, curious, and energetic, they make an impressive addition to larger community aquariums and are particularly interesting to watch as they explore the bottom and midwater areas.

They thrive in well-maintained aquariums with stable water quality, good filtration, plenty of swimming space, and hiding places among rocks, driftwood, and caves. Best kept in compatible groups where aquarium size permits, they are most active and comfortable when provided with plenty of room to swim. Due to their active nature and potential adult size, suitably sized tankmates are recommended.

Feed a varied diet of quality sinking pellets, wafers, frozen, and live foods.
