Peppered Corydoras (Corydoras paleatus) are hardy, peaceful bottom-dwelling catfish recognised for their attractive mottled pattern and active foraging behaviour. Social and easy to care for, they make an excellent addition to community aquariums and help keep the substrate clean by scavenging for leftover food.

They thrive in well-maintained aquariums with soft substrate, stable water quality, and plenty of hiding places. Best kept in groups, they display their natural behaviour and do well on a varied diet of quality sinking pellets, wafers, frozen, and live foods.
