Moss Green Tiger Barbs (Puntigrus tetrazona) are striking freshwater schooling fish admired for their deep metallic green to blue-green colouration and active, energetic behaviour. This selectively bred colour variety of the Tiger Barb retains the same bold personality and distinctive body shape, making it an eye-catching addition to larger community aquariums.

They thrive in well-maintained aquariums with stable water quality, good filtration, plenty of plants, and open swimming space. Best kept in groups of at least 6, with larger groups helping distribute natural social interactions and reduce fin-nipping directed at tankmates. They can be semi-aggressive, so avoid slow-moving or long-finned fish and provide plenty of swimming room and cover.
