Manacapuru Angelfish - 4cm (Pterophyllum scalare) (Live Fish)

Manacapuru Angelfish (Pterophyllum scalare) are elegant freshwater cichlids known for their tall body shape, long flowing fins, and distinctive reddish coloration across the back and upper body. Originating from the Manacapuru region of the Amazon, they are a striking centrepiece fish for larger community aquariums.

They thrive in well-filtered aquariums with stable water quality, plenty of vertical swimming space, and areas of plants or cover. They are generally peaceful but may become territorial, particularly when mature or spawning. Feed a varied diet of quality cichlid pellets, flakes, frozen foods, and occasional live foods to support healthy growth and condition.
