Green Neon Tetra (Paracheirodon simulans) (Live Fish)

Green Neon Tetras are peaceful, schooling fish admired for their bright metallic green-blue stripe and subtle red accents. They are well suited to planted and community aquariums, where they show their best colour and natural behaviour when kept in groups.

Approximate size: Up to 3–3.5 cm (1.2–1.4 in)
Temperament: Peaceful, active schooling fish
Recommended tank size: 30 L (8 US gal) or larger
Diet: Omnivorous; small flakes and micro pellets, supplemented with frozen or live foods such as daphnia and baby brine shrimp

Basic care information: Keep in groups of 6 or more, preferably in a larger school. Provide a planted aquarium with gentle filtration, stable water conditions, and open swimming areas.
