Darwin Red Nose Shrimp (Caridina wilsoni) (Live Shrimp)

Darwin Red Nose Algae Shrimp are distinctive freshwater shrimp recognised for their elongated bodies, extended red rostrum, and active algae-grazing behaviour. Their unusual appearance and peaceful nature make them an interesting addition to established planted aquariums.

They spend much of their time grazing on algae, biofilm, and microorganisms growing on plants, rocks, driftwood, and aquarium surfaces. Provide a mature aquarium with stable water parameters, plenty of natural grazing surfaces, plants, and hiding places. Supplement their natural diet with quality shrimp foods, algae wafers, and suitable blanched vegetables when required.
